Kid’s Concept was launched in 2007 when founders Anna Enander, Amelie Råberg and Johanna Backman saw a gap in the market. In 2007, there was almost no children’s furniture and other interior design elements for children’s rooms. Children’s rooms were usually furnished with a mixture of “adult furniture” and decorated in a way that was practical and long-lasting. There was no concept according to which toys, children’s furniture and interior products of the same theme could be combined and create a harmonious child’s room. And that was the beginning of Kid’s Concept. With an emphasis on their own design, sustainability and playfulness, various coordinated color concepts emerged. By combining functional toys, practical children’s furniture and high-quality Scandinavian-style interior design products made of wood and with different themes, it became easier to decorate children’s rooms. It quickly became a success. The slogan “Let children be children” has been alive and well since the beginning.
Kid's Concept would like to be a part of creating great childhood memories and contribute to active play where children can create imaginative games using their products; everything from role-playing games where Kid's Concept products encourage them to build a hut, play shop, café, put animals to sleep and form their first rock band, to small furniture for use in the living room or kitchen. Scandinavian style often helps Kid's Concept children's furniture complement any room in the house.
The company's head office and warehouse are located in Viarede, Borås, Sweden.
